rainy day is also a day of fashion

I woke up this morning and felt chills all over my body. When i looked outside, it was raining. Im never a fan of rainy season, i hate being soaked wet. So I figured I must do something to avoid the dilemma im having whenever it rains.

First off, I wear a coat to cover my blouse or shirt. I previously bought a not-so-green military jacket with a touch of femininity in it at Honeys(a store here in Japan). It has two front pockets and gold-like buttons to accessorize it. You could wear it with or without hood and with buttoned-up sleeves too.

For a girly look, I wear above-the-knee skirt, not so high but not too low. So a military jacket and a skirt will look both sophisticated and chic.

An ankle high leather boot is a good pair for it too. Since I dont have one yet, I've planned to buy a pair when i get my salary. I think a brown boot looks better with the military jacket. A Timberland shoe looks good with it too, although I really can't afford a pair. Anyway, I wear my leather jacket with a knee high boots, which also looks cute, but it is only until the shift from winter to spring season. So, I need a pair of ankle leather boots, fast!

A colorful umbrella will also make you more fashionable. Here in Japan, people usually use see through umbrellas during rainy days, but i prefer colorful ones. Dont be afraid to use red, pink or any bright colored umbrellas, it will help you brighten your mood on a gloomy day.

Sadly, i do not own a digital camera to take pictures of my clothings.
I will buy one when I get my salary too. Or maybe not. It depends upon my budget, since my needs comes first before my wants. :)

One thing I've learned whenever it rains, always surf the internet for ideas of outfits that feels comfortable and looks good to wear. I've had a rainy day outfit disaster once, and I do not want it to repeat ever again.
