it's because we love to eat

My husband and I have been traveling to places during our day off from work. And as hungry as we are, we always stop and eat at restaurants that are known for their steaks and hamburgers.

First stop is at Big Boy, we ordered hamburger and steak. It tastes so good that I can't stand after eating. We are used to heavy meals so we rarely eat food without rice. I guess that's what it makes us even fatter -- rice!

And that's how the steak and the hamburger looks like. It's quite expensive for that small meal but it's worth the money.

Next stop is at Sumiyaki Restaurant, which also serves very very delicious hamburgers and steaks. We really can't resist it!

*Oww, my face looks so pale, this photo was taken after we ate and I surely forgot to put my lipstick back.*

As you can see, we ordered only hamburger since it was very appealing at their menu. The onion sauce that came with the hamburger made it more delicious. And I ordered bread instead of rice because I thought the hamburger was such a heavy meal. Ohh, i'm hungry!

I haven't had the chance to take pictures at the restaurant to let you see how cozy it was because I was too shy of the japanese waiters. They kept on looking at my every time I held my camera, haha.

So this is how I always look like, Dollywink eyelashes, Maybelline gel eyeliner, CandyDoll lipstick and Nivea lip balm only. I don't know how to use foundations and blushes, I think I look like a clown. :)

I took the picture at the comfort room, because it was the only place where people didn't see me, and I couldn't be shy with the mirror. :)

I'm wearing a Cecil Mcbee blouse, it was bought in set so I thought I bought it cheaper and my watch and necklace is from the same brand too. My shoes are from Esperanza, as usual, the one I've posted before.

I'm sorry for the pictures since it was not taken at a very good angle. My husband isn't a good photographer and too bad because he doesn't have any passion with photography.

lack of self control

Do you often go gaga when you see items on sale, like make-up, eyelashes, lipstick, dresses, wallets, BAGS and SHOES, all with 40-70% discounts? I do, I surely have to buy 2 to 3 items when i get to their shops. I dunno why I go crazy over on-sale items, I don't certainly need them because I have a lot crowding in my closet already. I know I can't use them all at once, and I only go out (as in literally go shopping and grocery) once a week. I don't dress up for work because I think i'd be overdressed.

Yes, I got my bonus last week, and as expected, I spent all of it. When I got home, I told myself, WHY ON EARTH DID I BUY THESE THINGS??! I should've save them in my bank, or used them for other more important things. Well, too late because it's no return, no exchange. I could only stare at them now, and feel sorry for myself for not thinking before buying. In good contrast with the emotions I felt when I bought those things : HAPPINESS and SATISFACTION.

I dunno why i'm so self-indulgent, I buy what I want, when I want it. I know it's very wrong but I just can't stop myself when I get hold of money. I always think, I only spent bonuses, not the house and food budget. But still, it's not good and not right. I'm old now so I should've known better.

Lacking self control is my main problem, I don't know what I should do with it. I don't know if I can help myself because when I see these things ON SALE...

self indulgence is in control.

all new.. yay!

I was wandering at the mall last Friday since it was my day off from work, and it was my payday plus bonus! You can't imagine how happy I was when I received my salary! *-*

The first thing I bought was a digital camera and it's color is pink! I'm so addicted with pink nowadays, I dunno why. Anyway, my camera is a dsc -w570, SONY.

www.sony.co.uk

As you can see I just borrowed this picture from sony because i'm too lazy to take a pic of my digicam using my iphone. Anyway, that's my sweet camera, and I super love it! It's user-friendly although all is written in Japanese, and the pictures are just amazing! The following pictures you'll see are shots of my camera *-*

Dollywink Limited Edition

Got these at Episode at the Kusatsu Train Station, was lucky because it was cheap, limited edition and I got instant two eyelashes! I'm so excited to use them. I won't be making any reviews since i'm not very good at making it and i'm not that beautiful to post my face here, haha! Yes, I hate close-up pictures,it makes my nose very big to look at.. :)

The upper lashes is in no.2 Sweet Girly and the lower ones in no.6 Baby Cute, I love their combination.
The lower lashes, by the way, are separated, you should get them one by one with tweezers. I hope I don't lose them before I get to use them! The eyelash case is so cute, not just because it's pink, it is very handy and does not crowd my bag. These set of eyelashes is sold at 1260 yen here in Japan (I dunno in other countries since it gets pricey because of the shipments). Really great price for two adorable lashes!

And last but not least,
I won't end my post without this! My favorite cup ramen. So delicious..

This one is like a restaurant made ramen, it's even  more delicious than ramens in other famous restaurants that i've tasted. It's cheap too so you can eat more for less! :)

Be back in a few days with more posts. I have a new Cecil Mcbee wallet and blouse to show you.

Saturday OUT :)

Hello there! How are you? I hope you're fine because i'm not. :(  I'm busy with work at the moment so my posts are kinda late, i'm sorry. And I get really tired when i get home so I can't blog no matter how much I wanted to.

So, I've been thinking about food again, and I could only show you pictures. I hope you could taste all of them just by looking at it, it's soooo delicious!

Last Saturday, my husband and I had a date at Big Boy. And we ordered these yummy sirloin steak.

The sauce that was served with it made it more delicious. ;)

After our date, we went to Mitsui Outlet park, and window shopped. You should know by now that my to-buy-all-that-i-want list is a bit out of my budget already! I saw SALE items everywhere, no matter where I looked! yay! I'm excited for payday!

So,here I am in front of our little white car, before we went window shopping.

xx My legs are sooo short! XD xx

When we were just leaving the mall, my husband said he was hungry, AGAIN, so we went to Sukiya. Sukiya has delicious and wide variety of food menu, it's one of the cheapest restaurant that I've been.

I ordered this (I forgot the name of it in Japanese).

Beef Curry with sauteed meat, the curry is spicy, i dunno why japanese love spicy foods.

Wish I could blog more but my eyes are bothering me, and my head is throbbing. I need some sleep! Till next post! :)

I Stumbled Upon

Link is informative. :)

Been stumbling for the whole night, aside from blogging of course. And i stumbled upon these rules. As i've read through, I've found some impossible and self-centered rules. I wish they were more considerate about girls' feelings when they wrote this (whoever HE is that wrote it). But I found out it's quite informative as I've spotted almost all of my husband's attitude written there. Hah! I wish I can stumble upon rules that girls wish guys knew.

This is my husband and of course me. We've had lots of disagreements and flaws but we still love being with each other. All I can say is, boys will be boys, it doesn't matter what you say.

Oh well, Pernille (http://mythoughtsbutbetter.blogspot.com) i'm sure you'll enjoy reading this, if you haven't stumbled upon it yet!

Those of you who hasn't known, Stumble Upon, is a very cute site with lots of interesting stumbles. (what??!) Anyway, you'll know what i'm talking about if you visit their site. Go Stumble Here!

fashion in japan

I'm not posting about fashion, i just stumbled on this website and i guess you're quite interested in it, too. It features about recent japanese styles from teens, casual and trendy. You can visit the website HERE . I have also enlisted it in my Daily Reads located at my sidebar, Fashion in Japan.

It will surely help you if you're into japanese fashion and the likes. I've had fun looking at the pictures, and also had some ideas of new trends and cool outfits.

This is a night view from a very favorite shopping place, Mitsui Outlet Park. It's very huge, and has shops like Cecil McBee, Ingni, Zara, Egoist, Gap, Barneys New York, Lacoste, and so much more. It has more or less 50 branded boutiques in here.  I'd blog about this place some other time, I need to buy a digicam first! haha..

food cravings

After yesterday's drama post, i'm gonna change the mood of my blog. Today, i'll talk about food again, since I always indulge when i'm happy, sad or just in the mood. And also, majority of my photo files are of food. HAHA, yes i'm a food addict, if that's what it's called.

First off, CHOCOLATES.. Does anyone of you hate chocolates? hmm? These are the ones I love the most. I also eat japanese branded chocolates like meiji, almonds, and macadamia but not as much as these.

Wonka is the best for me because of the caramel taste that comes with the chocolate. OMG! I'm drooling, haha. Only in Mitsui Outlet Park did I find these heavenly chocolates and they are always out-of-stock. Lucky me, I saw it first!

The next on my food list is P I Z Z A! I always crave for it, i'm not pregnant or anything but I love them.
This one is called Challenged Meat from Chicago Pizza. Yummy!!

And of course, every time we go out and eat, we never fail to stop by any Ramen restaurant. This one is from a Ramen restaurant in Mitsui Outlet Park, but unfortunately I can't read its name because it's written in Kanji.
This is called Chashuu Ramen (Roasted Pork Fillet in Chinese-Style Noodles).

I'm afraid of gaining weight but I can't resist if these foods are placed on my table. I'm definitely eating all of it!
Do you have any food cravings?

CooLish!

The month started with so much heat. I hate the sweat I'm feeling, running down my back and wetting my blouse. uggh! Japan is never an ideal place when it comes to Natsu(summer).

We've raided supermarkets and convenience stores for everyday refreshments. And the other day, me and my husband found out this yummy ice cream in a pouch! Oh yes, it's an ice cream!

It's not very tempting to look at, I know. That's why we never thought of buying it until the day we saw our workmates sucking the hell out of this pouch. (Ok,i'm exaggerating a bit.haha!)

We gave it a try and was in heaven when we tasted it. Your palate will taste the sweetness and the creaminess of vanilla flavor that melts on your tongue.

I dunno why the japanese made this pouch as its container because it's not giving it justice, but i think maybe, they were too lazy to scoop an ice cream so much that instead, they'll just suck (weird description,eh?) it. ;)

japanese food.

Alright, since I don't have any good photos captured of all that I saw this weekend, i figured maybe I can blog about food. I realize I really can't be a fashion blogger because I have very small wardrobe to start with, basic tee's, shorts, pants, and whatnot. And besides, I don't have enough guts to take my fashion outside and walk through the day. I don't have any good camera yet so I can't take any good pictures of what's happening around town and the fashion statements that japanese women and ladies make around me.

Okay, I've had my rants already, I'll start talking about food. When I arrived here in Japan, the first thing in my mind was : Can I really eat all the noodles with vegies they are eating? So I gave it a try, and loved it.

Whenever we go around town and eat, we certainly stop by Champon. I dunno if I misspelled it but it reads that way. Anyway, me and my husband usually order Buta Soba (pork japanese buckwheat noodles), Gyoza (crescent-shaped,pan fried dumpling with minced pork and vegetables), Chahan (chinese-style fried rice), and the famous Karaage (fried chicken). We certainly eat everything that we ordered, we even have seconds if we are not full yet. Ha! That's why i'm gaining so much weight.

If you live in Japan, or currently staying here, I'm sure you've heard or seen these restaurants. They're all over Japan.

P.S.
Just by looking at the pictures, I know you'll know which is which. :)
OMG. They look so yummy, my mouth's watering already!
